Your kindergarten through twelfth grade education provides lots of different experiences for you. Not only can you challenge yourself intellectually but you can also try musical instruments, different sports, and how to do things around the house. There are always tournaments for all different kinds of activities from chess all the way to soccer tournaments.

Your primary and secondary education will prepare you quite well for what you're up against in college. These experiences will determine whether you will be playing a sport during college or if you're going to have an easy time through your entire college career. It all depends on how much you put in in your first twelve years of education.

The Soccer Goalie Has The Hardest Position

Of all the positions in a soccer game, the one that takes the most discipline is probably the soccer goalie position. These guys are always stuck in their goalie box because if they stray too far, there's the off chance that they won't be able to get there in time to defend if the opposing team's strikers are there taking shots at the goal.

When their own team's strikers are attacking the other goal though, the most that a goalie can do is continue to watch. They have to keep an eye on the positions of the opposing teams so he can try to predict how they will strike next. True that the goalie has the help of his other defensive players, but even those players get to run up and down the field if it calls for it.

Different Soccer Teams Will Bring Out Different Skills In Yourself

Several years of playing soccer on a high school team and you'll probably be able to develop decent skills to prepare you for collegiate soccer. If you've played on enough little league soccer teams, you'll probably be able to dominate a high school soccer field.

These skills take years and years to develop though. Even after the development, you still have to practice hard to maintain your skill and the level that you play at. If you ever take a break for long periods of time, you'll end up losing your skills and you'll have to start over at square one.

Soccer Scores Don't Tell You Everything

Soccer games are very exciting to watch when it's the World Cup. Low scoring games are usually a very good sign that the teams are pretty equally matched at any level. It's just so hard to get the ball up and down the field fast enough to actually score the ball into double digits. On top of that, there are also very skilled defensive players and a goalie that you have to get the ball past.

Even though the scores are generally really low in many of the soccer games, the speed and intensity of the game can still vary greatly from game to game. Soccer scores can reflect a lot about a soccer game, but the interest level of the game can never be accurately represented by the score.

The Strategy Of Pro Soccer

From grade school, the ideas of soccer are highly misconstrued. Usually the kids just move in one whole mass from one end of the field down to the other end, following that black and white hexagonal patterned ball. That's just harmless grade school fun, but when you start playing organized soccer in middle school and high school, you realize that there's more to the sport than just no touching the ball with your hands or arms.

You have to learn to stay in one position, and when the ball comes your way that's when you act. People that play pro soccer have this down pat. They always control the ball when it is in their region and when it gets to be out of their region of the field, they pass it to the next guy so they can carry the ball on. It's just that simple.

High School Soccer Just Doesn't Have the Same Rush

If you have ever watched the World Cup of soccer, you know how intense watching a game can be। It's like the Super Bowl of the entire world. The amount of teams and countries that are involved in this tournament are just amazing and you can really see some type of reconnection to our basic humanistic characters.

But when you watch High School soccer, it is nothing compared to that global unification. The competitive instinct of humans kicks in here as well, it's just not as present in the viewers of high school games than in the World Cup viewers.

The Basic Soccer Facts

Playing soccer is an easy enough thing to do. The most important rule and easiest to remember of all soccer facts is that you can't use your arms or hands to touch the ball, shoulders are ok. You're allowed to use everywhere else, including your head, to hit to ball wherever you want the ball to go.

The trouble comes when you play with people that are very experienced. They have all these different kinds of tricks that you just can't follow. As a novice, you should probably play with other novices to get your basic skills developed first and then slowly start playing with more advanced players to learn the tricks.
